Xidian Changbian’s first on-load adjustable reactor was successfully developed

Recently, the BKSFT-50000/150 three-phase on-load adjustable shunt reactor of the Indonesian Informasi Harga project undertaken by Xidian Changbian passed all factory tests and type tests in one go. This project is a key export product of the One Belt and One Road national project. It is the first on-load adjustable shunt reactor successfully developed by Xidian Changbian and the first on-load adjustable shunt reactor of China Xidian.

On-load adjustable reactors can perform hierarchical reactive power compensation and take into account the characteristics of fixed reactors and magnetically controlled shunt reactors. However, they are more flexible and adjustable than fixed reactors. At the same time, they are more reliable and less expensive than magnetically controlled shunt reactors. It helps to promote the application of balancing load fluctuations in the power grid.

This on-load adjustable reactor can realize step-adjustable capacity of 24.5Mvar-50Mvar. During the design and development process, through the analysis and research of electromagnetic characteristic parameters such as leakage magnetic field, additional loss and volt-ampere characteristics, the product structure and performance are improved. It provides convenient and practical engineering calculation methods. Relying on the previous reactor development experience and combining the feasible technical solutions involved in this product, a comprehensive design calculation analysis and optimization is carried out, which has important theoretical significance and engineering application value for improving the performance reliability and quality of the reactor.

The successful development of this reactor has not only improved Xidian Changbian's ability to design and research new products, but also enhanced Xidian Changbian's competitiveness in the adjustable reactor market, opening up a larger high-voltage parallel reactor market in the future. A solid foundation was laid.
